Amiguitos con pelo - Furred friends

Hola! Ha pasado un tiempo desde la última vez que publicamos en el blog, pero no por eso quiere decir que estuvimos alejados de las minis, todo lo contrario!! Trataré de ir mostrándoles de a pcoo algunas de las novedades.
Por el momento, les cuento que nos estamos preparando para Expohobby 2012 en los poquitos ratos que podemos hacerlo, y estos pequeñines harán su presentación allí. Están modelados a mano y con pelo aplicado. Quién sabe, tal vez después busquen nuevo hogar... pero eso será otra historia.


Hi! So long since last post, but that doesn't mean we were far from making miniatures: we were too involved in them!! We'll try to show you in future posts some of our new stuff.
But the point today is that we are getting ready to make our appearance in Expohobby 2012, though it's a must to say we do it in the rare free time we can find. These little fellows will be there. They are hand sculpted and furred. Who knows, maybe they will need an adopting family in the future, but that's a story to come...

Un nuevo perrito - A new doggie

Hola!!!
Es un gusto estar nuevamente posteando. Y como de costumbre, no es que estemos de brazos cruzados, es que nos falta el tiempo!!! Entre las vacaciones inesperadas pero más que bienvenidas (y por cierto preciosas), el regreso al trabajo, el retomar el ritmo y la preparación para los eventos que tenemos por delante en el mes de abril, las horas del día no son suficientes.
Quiero mostrarles un nuevo cachorro de boxer, este fue realizado por encargo a partir del que ya publicamos anteriormente, y su nueva casa está al otro lado del mar, en España.
Pronto les mostraremos grandes novedades:

It's nice to be back posting. As usual, we're not quiet at all, it's just a lack of time!! Among unexpected vacations (wonderful ones and needed), getting back to work, catching rythm again and getting ready for upcoming events in april, hours are too short.
I want to share a new boxer puppy. This one was a comision based upon the one posted on this blog before. His new home is across the sea in Spain.
Soon, we will let you know great news:

Bull terrier

Hola nuevamente!!!
Quiero compertir con ustedes en esta oportunidad un bull terrier en escala 1:12, modelado a mano y con pelo aplicado. Yo estoy bstante conforme, pero creo que voy a agregarle un par de dientes, porque su "sonrisa" se ve algo rara. Saludos!!

I want to share with you this 1:12 scale bull terrier. It's hand sculpted and then applied fiber to resemble fur. I like him a lot, but I think I will give him some teeth, for his "smile" seems a little strange, LOL!!

Un nuevo amigo - A new friend

Hola!! Quiero presentales a "Douglas", un animado cachorro de boxer. Por supuesto, está a escala 1:12, modelado y con pelo aplicado. Ha sido muy divertido de hacer y ya tengo ganas de hacer más!!!
Hello! Let me introduce you to "Douglas", a lively boxer pup. He is made in clay and furred, in 1:12th scale. It was a lot of fun to make and I'm already eager to do more!!

Clase tutorial en CDHM - Tutorial class at CDHM

Este sábado 3 de abril a las 12 hrs de Argentina, en el foro de CDHM estaremos dando una clase enseñando a realizar este conejito. Para poder asistir a la misma, sólo hay que se miembro del foro (es totalmente gratuito!) y registrarse para ser habilitado para ver la clase. Es gratis!!Lo interesante de las clases de CDHM es que uno va realizando la pieza a medida que la clase va avanzando.

Conejos en la casa / Rabbits at home

Esta semana ha sido una semana de seguir poniendo pelo a animalitos. Y no sólo eso: también una conejera para poder albergar a los nuevos y viejos conejos, y a los conejitos de indias.
Los conejos que no tienen pelo aplicado, están realizados en arcilla polimérica, y los de pelo aplicado, están modelados en porcelana fría y luego se les puso el pelaje.
Una escena encantadora de realizar, que será parte de la mesa que presentaremos en Expohobby 3, los días 15, 16 y 17 de abril.

This week I've kept on furring little fellows. And not just that: I also made a rabbit huthch to give shelter to the new and old bunnies, and the guinea pigs as well.
The rabbits with no fur are made out of polymer clay, while the furred ones, are modelled in cold porcelain and the flocking applied.
This was a lovely scene to make, and it'll be part of our display table at Expohobby ·, april 15th, 16th and 17th.
